URBANherbal’s boutique art galleries, featuring the work of local award-winning artists, are nestled within our gardens. Every month we feature an artist at our ArtWalk event, and art is frequently added to our collections. Stop by and enjoy the relaxing ambiance of art amongst the herbs and flowers, truly a delight for the senses. Our artists’ work is as varied as the herbs in our gardens, with everything from classic Texas Hill Country landscapes to modernistic sculpture, and fine art photography to whimsical portrayals of flora and fauna.

ABOUT OUR GARDENS
Our gardens offer relaxing walks and plenty of spots to sit and enjoy. Stroll through the Labyrinth, step into the meditation garden for a moment of reflection, wander through the various herb and flower beds interspersed with unique sculptures, and be sure to take a trip into the greenhouse, filled with plants and accented with art. Stop for a spell under the beautiful gazebo, covered in various vines that bloom throughut the seasons of the year, or sit in any number of individual seating areas to take in the beauty of the gardens. Take a moment to visit with Rudy the Rooster and our happy flock of chickens. After exploring our garden, stop in at our herbal gift shop, where all items are hand made on-site. From body and bath to cooking, the shop’s array of everything herbal will delight your senses.

Our space is available for events, including weddings and other celebrations. Have an upcoming event? CLICK HERE to learn more.

We also host a number of art classes, gardening classes, herb classes, fashion shows, and art walks throughout the year. Keep an eye on our Events page and sign up for our newsletter for notification of upcoming events.

A few notes about visiting URBANherbal gardens:

  • Be vigilant while walking in the gardens, especially if you are visiting with small children. Along with herbs and flowers, you will likely spot chickens, squirrels, birds, ants, spiders, lizards and sometimes even a snake.
  • Non-commercial photography is permitted in the gardens and greenhouse. We ask that individuals taking photographs avoid shooting sculpture and art to protect the artists’ copyright.
  • Remember the gardens are not a public park. The sculpture is to be visually enjoyed, but not climbed upon.
  • Please do not step into the flower and herb beds and do not pick or cut plants.
