Nan Henke is in love with the combined effects of watercolor and ink, but not in the standard style of outlining and shadowing with the ink.  “Serendipity” is this local watermedia artist’s name for her newly developed style because the black ink line follows all of the odd, planned, unplanned and even outrageous places that the watercolors happen to have mixed and flowed.  Hill Country landscapes waterscapes, plants, wildflowers and animals are all grist for her mill.
