Thoughts
to Ponder . . . from Bill Varney, URBANherbal

Dear Farm Family,
I always think of the song, September
Morn, by Neil Diamond this month!
Stay for just a while
Stay, and let me look at you. . .
School has started back, we are busy working in
our gardens for a nice Fall harvest after the Summer heat. New Beginnings,
lots of Butterflies: Blacks & yellow as well as orange. Monarchs
making themselves Happy Home, and Dining themselves in the garden.
Butterflies symbolize new beginnings, and transformation . . . fireflies
and dragonflies too.
In our kitchen, here at the Herb Farm we have
lots going on . . . Some new and exciting dishes and some new faces.
See the photos with this letter. This month we have cooler evenings
and mornings to start looking forward to and Fall planting.
We hope to see lots of you trekking to Fredericksburg
this month and if you cannot make it with the high gas prices we
hope you'll take advantage of ordering online.
Our Herb of the Month for September is Dandelion
more than a weed or a wish! Be sure to read all about it!
Look
at the new faces and dishes in our restaurant: Cindy Castleberry,
Steve Howard, Steve Theberge, Charles Cook & Kasey Weikel
Remember to dance until the night becomes a brand
new day and then September mornings still can make you feel this
way!
Join us in the garden restaurant on a "cool"
September Saturday night and enjoy the folk sounds of Vessel in
the garden.
We will have a special returning musical guest
in the dining room on September 16th - Kevin McCormick, classical
guitarist.
Blessings,
Bill Varney & All the Herb Farm Folks
P.S. Please remember all the
victims of Hurricane Katrina in your prayers.
