Dear Farm Family & Friends,
"With a bowl of tea, peace can truly spread." ~ Soshitsu Sen XV, Tea Life, Tea Mind
April marks our 12th Annual Herb Festival! We are excited about seeing many of you who have made this an annual event with us and those of you who have not made it to the herb farm for the spring Herb Festival, we hope you'll try to take time out to join us this year.
We are looking at some great vendors, wonderful food, talented musicians, and very fun and interesting speakers. Once again, Ambleside School students submitted art for our poster and we are thrilled with, The Sunflower, created by Erika Migeon! We will have t-shirts available with the artwork during the Herbfest.
Be sure to see our herb of the month, which is also the Herb of the Year, Pelargoniums spp. Scented Geraniums, along with some fun recipes to use after you've grown these fragrant plants.
April 1st brings the Grand Opening of The Back Porch - an addition to our restaurant where you can enjoy wonderful food, along with the official opening of The Secret Haus, a new space for relaxation as an expansion of our day spa.
Schedule a stay at our B&B for a peaceful weekend or weekday getaway. And don't miss the great products from the farm ranging from personal care and aroma therapy to gourmet foods.

Wishing you lots of time in your garden, just the right amount of rain and sunshine.
Blessings to you, your friends and family, Bill Varney & All of the Fredericksburg
