Many of these "Newsletters" reflect Bill Varney's time as founder and previous owner of the Fredericksburg Herb Farm
Dear Herb Farm Family & Friends,
We hope you got through January warm and well! We had lots of ice this last month, and it literally "shut down" the town of Fredericksburg for three days.
We are excited about our Valentines Dinner Menu and hope that we will see many of you that night. Not only do we have a wonderful menu in store for you, but musical entertainment by Kevin McCormick. If you are too far away to join us, lots of our Lotions, Gels, Candles, Colognes and Gourmet Foods make romantic gifts. Be sure to call us to order gift certificates for products, Day Spa, Bed and Breakfast, or lunch or dinner in the restaurant. You may also order many of our products through our online store.
Our Herb for February is Lemon Balm, which is also the Herb of the Year for 2007, we hope you enjoy growing it and make Lemonade following our recipe when the weather warms up.

We are lining up a lot of classes for the Springtime on gardening and cooking and using herbs. Start making your plans to visit the Herb Farm for our 13th Annual HerbFest, April 20, 21, & 22, 2007.
Our book review in February is a delightful book about herbs; planting, growing, uses and more. Visit our book reviews section to ready Victoria's review of The Potted Herb, by Abbie Zabar.
The Herb Farm has a wonderful selection of perfumes, colognes, essential oils, scented candles and more to help you find a special Valenitne's gift.
Get together with family and friends and enjoy the holiday season.
Blessings,
Bill Varney & All the Herb Farm Folks |
