Thoughts
to Ponder . . . from Bill Varney, URBANherbal

much much more . . .
Dear Farm Family,
February is upon us once again and we are
busy as can be getting lots done in our greenhouse to be ready
for Spring! Starting seeds, and making cuttings.
We are also busy working our gardens early
in anticipation of an early Spring.
As you can guess, it is our biggest season
of the year and the most beautiful time here.
But alas, it is still winter and we have
the excitement of Valentines Day this month. To celebrate,
we have made some very special candles and heart shaped glass
bath and shower gels and bath oils and we have a wonderful dinner
planned in our restaurant for Valentines evening,
including music with Classic Guitarist Kevin
McCormick, so we hope to see many of you that night.
Those of you who live in the Dallas-Ft. Worth
area might be interested to know that I will be giving a talk on
Herbs at the Northaven
Nursery at 10:00 a.m. on February 26th for the Herb Society
of America North & Central Texas Chapter. The title of the talk
is "Theres more to Herbs than Parsley, Sage, Rosemary
and Thyme."
We are very excited and proud of the story about
Fredericksburg Herb Farm that has just come out in the Spring issue
of The
Herb Quarterly magazine! If you are not familiar with
the magazine, it is a national magazine on Herbs that has been published
for 25 years.
We hope that many of you have reserved on your
calendar April 15th-17th for our Annual
Herb Festival, more to come on that next month. We
hope you will join us for the Herbfest, or anytime for a beautiful
moment in our gardens
or spa, restaurant or bed
& breakfast. While at the Fredericksburg Herb Farm, nurture
your personal beauty with our personal
care products.
Blessings to all of you,
Bill Varney & all the Fredericksburg Herb Farm Staff
