Dear Farm Family & Friends,
Well Fall is in the air, and we are starting to do all of our Fall planting.
We hope you will take advantage of getting your garden ready and come visit us at the herb farm for a nice selection herb plants. As Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, "All our progress is an unfolding, like a vegetable bud. You have first an instinct, then an opinion, then a knowledge as the plant has root, bud, and fruit. Trust the instinct to the end, though you can render no reason."
Just a reminder that Saturday, October 13, 2007 is National Herb Day! Be sure to visit us and celebrate with a walk through our gardens, an herbal spa treatment, lunch or dinner and see what a difference herbs make in our lives. Visit HerbDay.org to learn more about the second annual Herb Day.
A special note to Pet Lovers: Bill Varney, his dog Esparanza and his cat Maple are featured as Mr. March in the "PAWS Hunks and Huggables 2008 Calendar" - find out more about the calendar and this amazing organization. Don't forget to check out our newest line, Esparanza, Hope Dog Shampoo and Conditioner. They help rid your dog of bugs naturally, and give him or her a healthy shiny coat and calm them down.
