The plan is progress, not perfection.

Touch
or Be
Touched
The human touch is one of the surest
ways of unburdening stresses. Just as the embrace of a parent soothes
the upset child, just as a kiss or a handshake takes the sting out
of an argument, the simplest touch sometimes works miracles.

Rest in
a Tub
A leisurely, warm bath soothes like no other method.
Lower the lights, light a few candles, add a few drops of your favorite
essential oil to the bath water and you will be transported!
Pray for Somebody I
remember reading years ago a little tract written by Frank Laubach,
a great man of prayer, in which he described one of his prayer practices.
When he is on a journey, even on a streetcar going a few blocks,
he tries to spot somebody on the car who seems to him to be in distress,
or perhaps just tired and lonely, and to direct his prayers toward
that person as the Divine possession were streaming out from him
to this other person. ~ H.L.

The next time you are
on a subway or a bus, at the movies or in the mall,
choose someone in need and pray for that person.
